Students Must Be An Enrolled Yakama Member, And Be Enrolled In A 2 Or 4 Year College Or University In A Field Relating To, Or In Pursuit Of A Degree Applicable To Environmental Restoration Waste Management. Student's Must Be Enrolled Full-Time Status To Qualify. Majors Include: Engineering, Disciplines, Such As Mathematics, Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Biology, Botany, Archaeology, Earth Science, And Etc.

CDC's Latest Addition To Its Public Health Practice Stories From The Field
Describes How Pharmacists On The Yakama Nation Reservation In Washington Are Helping Improve The Health Of Patients With Diabetes. The Pharmacists Help Patients Manage Their Diabetes And Stay Current On Lab Tests And Health Checks, Thus Easing The Workload Of Overburdened Primary Care Providers. Patients Who Are Enrolled In The Program Are More Than Twice As Likely To Have Their Glucose, Blood Pressure, And Cholesterol Under Control As Those Patients Not In The Program.

The Yakama Nation Revenue Allocation Plan (RAP) Program Is Notifying All Yakama Enrolled Members Who Are Full-Time Students Or Parents Of Students Of The Next School Proof Due Dates.

Submission Dates:

Funding "Quarter Dates" Due Dates - School Proof Full-Time Student
Check Release Dates (CRD)
Quarter 1 Oct. - Dec. 2016 December 5 - 9, 2016 December 23, 2016
Late CRD Jan 6 & 20, 2017 And
February 3, 2017
Quarter 2 Jan. - Mar. 2017 March 6 - 10, 2017 March 24, 2017
Late CRD April 7 & 21, 2017 And
May 5, 2017
Quarter 3 April - June 2017 June 2 - 8, 2017 July 7, 2017;

School Proof For Student Pre-School Through 12th Are Required To Have The Following:
1. Attendance For Each Month Of The Quarter Being Funded.
2. All Documentation Must Contain The Name Of The School, The Student's Name, And The Dates Of Attendance     For The Funding Quarter.
3. The School Proof Will Need To Be Printed Within The Quarter's Due Dates, Or To The Last Day Of School.
4. The School Proof Must Have The Student's Yakama Nation Enrollment Number Documented On The School     Proof.
5. Complete The Full-Time School Application For Any Changes.

School Proof For Higher Education Students Are Required To Have The Following:
1. Must Be Registered Full-Time According To The School Attending Full-Time Credit Policy.
2. Submit Credits And Grades For The Quarter Or Semester Attending Of The Funding Quarter.
3. All Documentation Must Contain The Name Of The School, The Student's Name, Dates Of Quarter Or Semester,     Credits, And Grades.
4. The School Proof Will Need To Be Printed Within The Quarter's Submission Dates, Or When Grades Are     Available.
5. The School Proof Must Have The Student's Yakama Nation Enrollment Number Documented On the School     Proof.
6. Complete The Full-Time School Application For Any Changes.

New Or Returning Students:
Must Complete The Full-Time Students Check List And Application Available On The Yakama Nation Website At www.yakamanation-nsn.gov Or In The RAP Office.
